Description Matt Chapman CLA 2005-08-19 10:05:27 EDT
Patterns mode often doesn't render properly - the patterned stripes are
invisible. Sometimes zooming in or out, or selecting stripes causes them to be
painted.

The problem is the version of libcairo1 on linux. On Mandrake 10.1 (and many
other recent distros) the installed version is 0.1.3. But as noted in bug
102481, version 0.4.0 is required, and is shipped with Eclipse 3.1. To use it,
you need to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to point to the
top-level Eclipse directory. Then the Visualiser patterned stripes work perfectly.
