Tried using quick fix as implemented in the readme sample plug-in, and it
doesn't work (sample is broken? or is not compatible with new version of
eclipse?). Then I performed the following experiment: I tested a plug-in that
provided content-nuetral markers that had custom resolutions. These resolutions
work in JDT editors but do not work in CDT editors.

It looks to me like most of the work has been done on this (I tried to do the same thing) on the latest checkout of CDT.
