I like this proposal, a lot. Changing the label here to something more explicit will more easily allow end-users to discover and handle the features of the Project Explorer.

+1 for the rename. 

You should also update the help, at least Workbench User Guide > Tasks > Navigating and finding resources and Workbench User Guide > Reference > User interface information > Views and editors with the next text
