Description mobilae CLA 2003-06-16 06:59:08 EDT
When i open perspective with views defined in some feature and
then diable that feature, i get errors on re-start.
Message tells that can not restore perspective due to view not available.
It is not good to show to user because of the following reasons:
1) User does not care about plugins. He manages features only. Error
message shows ID of view which is plugin-specific
2) User does not see pictogram of perspectives which is confusing.

Why not automatically close perspective if feature unsintalled?

I think this is duplicate - the platform UI cannot restore the persisted
perspective.

Moving to platform UI - please resolve this either as a duplicate of the
similar recent defect or in some other way.

Issue not about restoring but about error reporting way.
