This is already implemented in 'Workspace' model and it is called 'compressed folders'. AFAIK the CVS plug-in doesn't support compressed folders in 'Change Set' model. Can we close this? Created attachment 177190 [details] Screenshot depicting the problem in question. Would be helpful if folders that don't actually contain any files with changes in them will be collapsed into one tree node. See attached for a comparison between the CVS plug-in and EGit.
