Each major project (the top-level projects except for the Tools and Technology projects where it is the sub-projects) should have an About dialog icon and contribute to the welcome page.

DTP currently use the same about icon same as Eclipse platform team.

I believe we already do both of these things, but will verify for Galileo.

Xiaoying, for the two branding features that we contribute to Galileo, can we change the text currently used in the provider name from "Eclipse.org" to "Eclipse Data Tools Platform"? I'm not sure which feature definitions the two Galileo ones are, or I'd go ahead and do it myself.

Brian,

I have updated provider name for all dtp features.
Since in the Configuration Dialog of eclipse, all the dtp features are listed and so do their content provider. (Please see Help->About Eclipse platform->Install Details ->Features tab and Plugins tab)

Do we need to update the provider info for all dtp plugins? Equonix team now are using Eclipse.org-Equonix for their plugins.

Let's worry about the plug-in provider names in the next major release. To touch every single plug-in this late in the game would be a bit of overkill in my opinion. And by adjusting the feature provider names, we're addressing the need as discussed at the planning council.

The provider name is still Eclipse.org in daily build 200904070500.

The branding plugins of features need to be updated also. So reopen.

All branding plugins are updated now except the documentation plugins.
I will check those doc plugins while they were ready for the final 1.7.0 release.
