In a case in the Platform and in JDT, the two are combined into one. See bug 204879 and bug 242801. I am not sure how your controls are setup so I don't know if you want take the Platform layout or the JDT layout. From bug 73923, comment 26: "There is no single dialog for selecting files and folders. There were even a request for that in bug 88676 (now closed as wontfix). Implementation of a dialog like that can be more problematic as it seems: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/platform-swt-dev/msg04922.html" This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug.
