For minor service releases the splash screen does not change. This information 
is available from the About dialog. 

The 2.1 builds should however have a new version number. Changing summary of 
this defect.

Kevin, I'm afraid I'm not through with the issue yet...

Don't take this too seriously, but in essence you did a hostile takeover
of a bug report.  Please, don't do that.  You're make life more
complicated for me, the original bug reporter.

(For people who read this later: This originally was about
"splash screen of 2.0.1 should show "2.0.1", as opposed to "2.0".)

Fear not, I'm not going to recapture this bug now.
What I have to say is slightly different issue anyway
and went to a new bug, namely, bug 23526.

plugin.xml is updated. Moving for About Dialog updates.

Splash screen has been updated.  There are no about dialog updates in UI to be 
performed.
