1) Help > Help Contents
2) Search for "Navigator view"
3) Select "Navigator view" in the result list
In the doc only "Navig" is highlighted
Comment 1 Dorian Birsan CLA 2002-06-21 11:34:29 EDT
I tried it and both "Navig" and "view" get highlighted.
The search engine is searching stemmed words, so that's what why "Navig" gets
highlighted and not "Navigator".
I will mark the bug as WNF.

Yes, it is design to hightlight roots of the words, whenever stemming is
performed during search.

Comment 4 Randy Giffen CLA 2002-06-24 15:42:33 EDT
Why do you do free stemming?
Especially using the advanced search dialog, I would expect to only find
exactly what I ask for.
Comment 5 Dorian Birsan CLA 2002-06-24 15:47:18 EDT
There is a post 2.0 feature (bug 17030) to support *both* stemmed and exact
searches, but the search engine (lucene) can only support only one choice and
this is what the initial requirement was (support stemmed searches).

This is duplicate of 17030
