Description Randy Giffen CLA 2002-06-04 11:40:11 EDT
F2

1) Open the property sheet
2) Select a file in the navigator
3) Select the name property and perform copy from the context menu
4) Paste to a text editor to see that you copied the property correctly
5) Select the Info category and perform copy from the context menu
6) Paste to a text editor to see that nothing was copied

Not sure whether copy should be disabled here or should be made to work.
Probably the latter it might be useful to copy a category name.
Comment 1 Nick Edgar CLA 2002-06-05 09:28:59 EDT
I'd expect Copy on a category to copy text for the whole category, including
its property values.
Comment 2 Chris McLaren CLA 2002-09-04 14:11:52 EDT
agreed. additional comments: copy/paste from category name actually does paste the
most recent clipboard (for instance, the 'name' property in the example below). i'm
running 2.0.1 release.

Cleaning up defect lists by setting ones without recent traffic to 'REMIND'.
Comment 5 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:08:22 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
Comment 6 Wojciech Sudol CLA 2014-12-10 09:57:31 EST
The issue still occurs in Eclipse 4.5 I20141208-2000.
Comment 7 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-04-09 09:14:22 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
