[wtp-dev] Bugzilla Spring Cleaning

Hey guys,

Some of you may be wondering why you have so many bugzilla emails in your in box, and yep, it's me doing some spring cleaning.  :-)  I have mainly focused on closing out really old verified bugs in older target milestones.  However, in the process, over 50% of all of our resolved bugs were in the untargetted state.  This is fine if the defect was resolved as works for me or invalid or won't fix.  However, as some of you are pointing out, some of these bugs are bugs you just fixed very recently.  Let this be a reminder, if you do agree to accept a bug and provide a fix, then you must set the target milestone appropriately.  This is crucial for WTP release engineering, quality standards, and project control.  So, if you were affected by this, my apologies for the inconvenience, I am hoping there are only a few of you out there.  Please reopen, set the target milestone accordingly, and resolve as fixed again,  Then, we will monitor and track that bug in our usual queries.

The good news is we have a much clearer picture of what changed in 1.5.3, 1.5.4, 2.0 M5, and M6 and we can focus our verification efforts appropriately.

Thanks,
