Your 0.6 release indicates that it is a major release, which implies API breakage.

Can you add a sentence or two to describe what breaks and how?

We discussed this in a different channel, but the rest of the PMC is not aware of the change that you actually made, so highlighting that would be helpful. You've added some discussion in the compatibility section of the plan. Again, a pointer would be helpful.
