The unconference also went really good I think, despite lack of nutrients at lunch and temperatures way off the scandi-scale for my part. One of the things we discussed was getting common branding in place. So some projects already have logos, I believe ICE and DAWN. Note that there is no requirement to change the logo on this occasion. You may want to consider it, or maybe the logo will fit in just fine.

What we agreed upon was to find a set of matching colours and a style that can be applied to all, so that there is an obvious theme when we see these presented together. We understand The Eclipse Foundation will provide some funds to have this done. Basically a short list of properties describing the logo, suitable for the designer as a starting point.

I would like this to be in place for the October release, so I’m putting a deadline for this to be the first of August. Hopefully we’ll only need a month or so for the designer to finish the work.
