Hi Tracy & all,

I just started to think how we could do to toggle legend on/off… Among other things also written in this page. This work is awesome and really interesting!

Do we have a nightly p2 update-site or should it be built from the sources directly for now?

Alain

The first big set of changes from Diamond's DAWN have been merged into Nebula.

Have a look at the new & noteworthy to see the features for the upcoming release in June (complete with shiny screenshots!)

Plus there should be more to come so will keep you all posted...

It would be great to abstract and nebula release the region drawing stuff too Tracy. Although that might require moving the region maths to January from org.eclipse.dawnsci.analysis.dataset.roi and then releasing the draw2d bundles which draw them in nebula.

Cheerio,

Matt

Hi all,

I want to highlight some ongoing enhancements to SWT XYGraph. Jonah Graham and Baha El-Kassaby will be working closely with the Diamond/DAWN folks to merge the Diamond fork of SWT XY Graph into the Eclipse Nebula project.

This is something that has been discussed at unconferences and on the mailing list, so thought some of you may be interested.

What this means is that some of the really nice features and extensions the DAWN team have implemented over the years in SWT XYGraph will be more widely available as part of the Nebula project.

This includes:
Axes inversion functionality https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=513317
A Filled Circle point type https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=513868

Down the line this will include other features such as tick mark generation, enhanced toolbars, selection regions (regions of interest) and more.

The umbrella bug for anyone interested in this work is https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=513865

Regards,
Tracy
