Re: [science-iwg] Demos and Eclipse Booth at Devoxx US

Yes I can do 12:30-13:00  “Overview of Eclipse Science Projects”

I could ask the Eclipse Science email list for each project to provide some content.

How about that ?

Hey Matt,

Is there any chance you would be able to do an Eclipse Science demo on Tuesday at our booth? I hate to ask since you've already volunteered some time. But we still have 2 slots to fill, and would love to give Eclipse Science more representation.

See the schedule here.

Thank you!

Kat

A demonstration of the Eclipse Scanning project and some of the ideas within it that help scientists and engineers to complete experiments at scientific facilities such as synchrotrons and neutron sources. Eclipse scanning is open source and the demonstrator does not have a commercial interest in selling the project so it will be an honest look at various features and ideas in the project.

Sincerely,

Is anyone willing to do a demo or short presentation at Devoxx US? I'm only staying for Converge. Good opportunity to represent our group!

Hello,

Would any of you be willing to do a short presentation or demo at the Eclipse booth at Devoxx US?

We would like to have our Working Groups well represented at the conference.

The presentation slots are 20 min each, and it would be great if you could do one per day. There will be a small stage, 12 seats and a monitor.

If you're interested please do the following:

  1. Provide the Title and Topic of your presentation or demo to me by email;
  2. Add your name to the draft schedule linked here (schedule slots may change);
  3. Confirm by email if you would like to participate by no later than March 1;

Thank you!

Kat
