Re: [science-iwg] Nebula XY Visu

Yo,

In the DAWN fork, we hacked it to save as eclipse properties but as this brought in an unwanted eclipse dependency (currently it is pure draw2d I think), we could not agree with Xuihui to merge it back. This is fair enough but we have not coded up an alternative yet for the obvious reason that it works for us in the mean time J Also the solution was something of a hacked and adhoc one.

There is a plan to work with Kichwa early this year to help to remove our fork, merging back the improvements. This will be one of the problems that will have to be resolved, perhaps with a state bean which serializes without preferences.

We've never found that functionality if it exists while using XY Graph for EAVP.

I had a poke around and it kind of looks like there might have been support for this. I would suggest sending a message to the nebula forum [1] as they're using pretty responsive.

Hi folks,

We are doing some devs using XY Graph integrated in Nebula. The library has an extensive set of properties that can be configured on the graph: grid lines, scales of axes, colors, etc.

Do you know if by chance Nebula proposes a way to store and restore the configuration set by the user? We would like to save user’s customizations and be able to restore them next time he launches the workbench.

Cheers,

Alain
