Re: [science-iwg] Moving projects to the new TLP

Jay/all,

Thanks for the update. If this took place before the Unconference, I guess when I give an overview of STEM those who already had their project migrated can also tell how it went and what it involves.

One of the biggest fears of the STEM team so far was that either the project URL, Git repos etc. would change, but it does not sound like that from your message. I'd be happy to share that with the STEM team in the next call if what I'm able to tell about the project gives the impression it could be a good match for the Science TLP.

And yes I know there's a separate registration/day ticket for that;-)

Regards,

Werner

In the timeslot I offered JSR 363/unit support already (as I'll probably leave Frankfurt around lunchtime, I planned slot 4 to be on the safe side) I may not be able to show the same level of detail Chris or other field experts (in epidemiology) could, but as an overview of what STEM does and how it and the Science WG could benefit from each other I guess I have a bit of experience talking about it;-)

Everyone,

We need to prepare to move our projects from the Technology Top Level
Project to the new Science Top Level project. According to Wayne, this is
primarily an organizational activity that should have at most a very small
impact on project resources. All of our repositories will stay in the same
place, etc. Only project leads should have to spend time - and a small
amount of time at that - working on this.

Wayne has schedule the restructuring review for October 19th. Any questions
or thoughts? If so, please use "Reply All" when you ask so that the EMO
address will be copied to keep them in the loop.

Jay
