[science-iwg] Science Unconference

Hi,

I added at JSR-363 slot for the Unconference event:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Unconference_Europe_2016#16:00-17:30_Time_slot_4

Since I'll likely go there around lunchtime, 4-5:30pm sounded like the safest option. I hope some of you at least those interested in the subject are still around or plan to attend most of the day (the conference only starts the next day, so it's safe to assume most who also stay for that do;-)

I'll speak with the STEM team at the monthly call on Thursday, what their plans are. If the worst comes to the worst I'd be happy to give a brief overview myself. Otherwise Chris as a committer could probably show you more with the most recent news about STEM.

Should STEM and Science feel comfortable with each other, I guess it would also be a good addition to regular release trains...

Regards,

Werner

Hi Andrea,

the file format converters are still kept proprietary by us. They are
not part of the ChemClipse release.
Sure, we'd really like to find a way howto:

* Ensure that the data format converters are not lost someday
* Publish them under an appropriate open source license, preferred EPL
* Ship them with a future ChemClipse release

Let's go into details at the EclipseCon.

Best,
Philip
