Re: [science-iwg] Pull request IP validation error

DawnSci imports the (old) javax.measure.unit package.
Maybe that is part of why JSR-275 saw over 25k retrievals from Bintray lately?;-)
https://bintray.com/keilw/maven/javax.measure%3Ajsr-275#statistics

Is it using 0.9.3 or another revision? The others compared to 0.9.3 are insignificant, but maybe it's another downstream project like LocationTech/GeoAPI?

Shouldn't be reason for the IP issue I hope, at least those old flavors of the JSR have been around for some time. AFAIK the CQ for JSR 363 (0.8!) is still pending. Guess I'll talk to SmartHome about filing it for the Final release which is just around the corner (should be right before JavaOne)

Hi all,

This seems to be stuck today since 10:20 BST for eclipse/dawnsci. I'm going to retrigger the PR and see if that helps...

There have been reports of validation problems with other projects, so this may also be an infrastructure issue. Usually gets resolved in a day or two, but if not please open a bug.

Hi Matt,

Chris Sharpe (not a committer) has been trying to commit to dawnsci, he finally had the pull request pass but after he updated on github, the eclipse validation tool signalled an error.

I think it is a bug with the tool that the validation fails after merging master into a pull request branch because the CLA validation chain is good at this point. This limits collaborative work of non-committers.

I have copied the science working group not to be a pain but just so colleagues there are aware or if they have seen this.

All the best,

Matt

Only for unconference day. My current work is in Germany, so I should be
still here then, but I can't afford more than a day without a talk and
relatively soon after nearly 2 weeks of JavaOne.
