Philip,
No. Each product in the release is being released
separately with their own product definitions, features and
download sites.
The steering committee has previously discussed (as in last
year) that we would wait until the TLP was in place before we
would deal with the larger issues around a single Eclipse
Science Workbench with an overarching product and feature.
Some of these larger issues include:
*The name (because people argue over that the most)
*What happens to our existing standalone products with
their own workbenches (ICE, DAWN, Chemclipse, etc.)?
*What about "look and feel?"
*What about branding?
*What about all the normal issues facing an Eclipse project
(website, documentation, etc.)?
So, yeah, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. The
best that we can do for the fall release is to start
developing dependencies on a common stack, which at the moment
is formed by January, EAVP, Triquetrum, EASE, and PTP. I think
Rich Beans might be the next to join that common core.
