Thanks for the heads up.  I don't
think any PMC approval is needed at the RT level for this decision.  +1
in case there is.

My main concern is the maintainability
of the 3.x RCP codebase that your largest community is using.  Has
that part been any issues for you in keeping that running smoothly?

Hello RT-PMC

Today we are announcing the decision to
lease the Eclipse Release Train for the moment.

Reasons are detailed in this bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=500733and any discussion is welcomed of course.

Riena will continued to be maintained and
new features will be added since we have a very active userbase that continues
to rely on it. However the large effort of supporting 3 platforms (4.x.,
3.x. and RAP) made us choose to just no longer be on the release train.

We will return…..
