By default we use only the in-memory database implementation of HSQLDB to make
the setup of SMILA as simple as possible. This cannot be provided by Derby
(AFAIK). And as there has been an approval of HSQLDB 1.7.3 earlier I thought
this would not be a problem. If this is really a problem for Eclipse I can
probably switch to Derby but it would need some effort at this point to do so.
