Can you clarify why BDB is the only DB in that you can use?
Can the IP team clarify the meaning of "pre-req non-exempt". To me the
"non-exempt" part means it is not allowed.
Also, even if something was pre-req and exempt, that does not imply that it can
be distributed from eclipse.org servers. If that were true then the CDT folks
would be able to distribute a complete package including the GCC stuff.
As a point of record, it is the EMO that approves exemptions so they should get
involved somehow. IP team, can you invoke the right mechanisms? they will
want an answer to the first question above.
