Hi Kaloyan,

3. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=466993 it awaits for code review and merge

4. I get your point. I'd like more people to share their opinion about it, I think we could implement it, once we got everything tested and reliable.

I’ll have a look at this tomorrow with Johannes.

5. I'd like more people to share their opinions, especially Marcel Bruch and Johannes Dorn, since from the beginning NewsFeed was meant to be a Code Recommenders project

No doubt that the dependencies should be close to ‘0’. JDT or Recommenders dependencies should not be necessary. But a dependency to Google Guava is okay.

Regarding 6.: Mylyn team just scheduled the notification support for Mars.

Best,
Marcel

Thanks for your feedback once again :)

6.  The notification does not look well on dark theme (at least on Ubuntu). See the attached screenshot.

There are 2+ issues filed on Mylyn Commons (e.g. [1]). We’ll keep this in mind (also for the error reporting) be we won’t take any actions on this at the moment.
