Hi,
this is the weekly status report for the GSoC 2014 project Snippet
Sharing Infrastructure [1].
What I have done this week:
Last week I got a lot of feedback for the improved Snippets View
which I addressed this week.
It was mostly about the placement of actions and the user
expectations.
Bug 441539
- Rearrange actions in toolbar and
context menu
What has changed now:
- The toolbar only contains "add snippet" and "add repository".
- When using "add snippet" from the toolbar the selected
repository (if any) is pre-selected in the following selection
dialog
- Multiselection is enabled
- Context menu only shows up when the selection contains one
type of elements
- It is possible to edit repository configurations ("Edit
Repository...")
Beside of that I fixed the small bugs (during adding/deleting repos).
What I have planned for the next week:
I planed to start writing ui tests with swt-bot.
