Re: [recommenders-dev] [soc-dev] Eclipse winter of code (EWoC) program

Start here:

http://eclipse.org/contribute/

There are many ways to contribute. If you're not sure, you can just ask on the soc-dev list.

Budget-wise, it's probably too late to allocate funds for an Eclipse Foundation winter-of-code. If you want to pursue it, then I recommend that somebody take it up with the committer reps.

Hi all,

So how can we enroll in a project? Is there any list available on the Internet which we can have a look at?
Thank you!

Cheers,

Hi Mayur,

I can't say anything about an "Eclipse Winter of Code" stipend. In case you are interested in working on recommenders, we can for sure offer some project ideas that would need a helping hand.

Speaking more general for every Eclipse project: Even if the Eclipse Foundation may not offer a stipend, joining a project now may improve your chances for the next GSOC ;-)

Best,
Marcel
