[recommenders-dev] GSOC 2013 Eclipse Code Recommenders: Social Snippets

Hi,

My name is Stefan Prisca, I'm a student, second year, at Cluj-Napoca University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science, Romania. I am very interested in taking part in your GSOC 2013 program.

The project I would like to work on is Eclipse Code Recommenders: Social Snippets. I took a little time this weekend to look over JFace and SWT, and get an idee of how they work. I will have a look over the prototype from https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=401771 and maybe contact you via email again and share some ideas on how I plan to develop the project. 

I will also add my name and e-mail address at the end of the project description on http://wiki.eclipse.org/Google_Summer_of_Code_2013_Ideas , as suggested in the Rules section. 

And I wanted to ask you, should I send a patch or something of the sort until the applications for GCOS 2013 begin, or can i send it in the following weeks?(I have some mid-terms at school this week and the following)

It is the first time I take part in this program, so I don't know exactly how things go. :)
