For the past couple of days I studied the  following API classes which are related to the project. 

* SessionProcessor

* ProposalProcessor

* RecommendersAllCompletionEngine

By studying them I got a idea about the code and after further inspection of the code  I will submit a project proposal for the project

did you have a look at the Bugzilla
<https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=402710> and Gerrit
<https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/10611/> entries for that proposal yet?
That should give you some pointers to get a feel for the code.
