Hi Marcel,
I am working for add parameters support for SnipMatch, but it is not finished yet. After this feature, i will re-write SnipMatch's search request trigger mechanism. I think SnipMatch will be really ready for release when this feature is finished.
About the blog post, it is ok for me to create a blog post for GSoC project. Where should i create it?

are there any changes coming in today for snipmatch? I'm finishing the demo for my presentations on Thursday and Friday.
AFAIK GSOC wants the students and orgs to summarise the GSOC work in a blog post. Chen, would you like create a blog post on your project at the code recommenders blog?
I also talked to an editor of jaxenter.com. When snipmatch is ready for prime time we (read: you guys) may publish an (online) article about snipmatch there.
Doug, Chen, if this is of interest to you it would be nice to discuss a roadmap of what needs to be done before we can promote snipmatch.
