Hi Committers, do you have any ideas for the next Google Summer of Code? Last year Stefan did a great job on the Extended Documentation Platform. After the success of the last year we may offer a few topics again? Other projects already started the brain-storming: http://bryanhunt.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/google-summer-of-code-2012-with-xtext-emf-and-mongodb/ Potential areas for GSoC topics (this is not an exhaustive list): snipmatch: UI / Backend / Local Caching extdoc: various documentation providers subwords: sophisticated ranking strategies chain completion: learn-whats-relevant version based on usage data code-search: indexing of none-java files, potentially improved UI and highlighters etc. usage-data: refined usage-data collector with neat ui concepts stacktrace search engine: any kind of UI or backend work? Johannes, Sebastian, Stefan, Doug, Tobias, Andreas, Eric: any ideas on this? Are there any topics/ideas you would like to mentor?
