Re: [rdf4j-dev] Planning RDF4J 2.3.1

Hi,

James, any update on the release plan for 2.3.1? We will have our code-freeze some time next week and would like to upgrade to RDF4J 2.3.1 as this will contain important bug fixes.

Also https://github.com/eclipse/rdf4j/issues/1014 looks like a regression added with the 2.3.0 release. It is about a parsing error of IRI string consisting of IP and port, e.g. in our case the HTTP Repository Config URL. Is there a chance that this gets fixed as well? I attached minimal test cases.

Best,
 Andreas

Sorry, I did not refer to the lucene handle fix in 2.3.1 (which is already available in 2.3.0), but the turtle parsing issue of boolean object literals.

Best,
 Andreas

Hi James,
thanks for pulling the patch release this fast.

Do you already have a tentative release date planned? We are currenlty in our release-approaching phase and ideally would upgrade to 2.3.1 (for the lucene file handle fix).

Also you may want to have a look at https://github.com/eclipse/rdf4j-storage/issues/62 if this is a quick fix: if a parsing error occurs, no further write operations are possible with lucene as the index writer is closed.

Thanks,
 Andreas

Hi all,

Last chance to get a PR in for 2.3.1. Next week I plan on doing a patch
release with what is in master+2.3.1 milestone.

Thanks,
James
