This should read: "The Freeze Plan
for 4.5", which will cover our endgame with the RCs. The API Freeze
happened with M6. All API changes and additions now need PMC approval on
the bug report before releasing any code.

Hi,

thanks for a very successful M6. We solved approx. 130
bugs, see https://wiki.eclipse.org/Platform_UI/Plan/4.5/Milestones#4.5_M6
for details.

We currently have tagged approx. 60 bugs for M7, https://wiki.eclipse.org/Platform_UI/Plan/4.5/Milestones#4.5_M7.
The API freeze plan for 4.5 has AFAIK not been published yet, but will
be similar to to https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/plans/freeze_plan_4_4.php

If there are other bugs which we should look at (preferable
with patches) please let us know.

Relationship to other projects from which I know:

- The PDE colleagues working on a patch from Olivier for a e4 RCP project
template. If this gets integrated we can retire our e4 project wizard PDE
fork (yeah!) https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=441331
- Retina support is enabled by the SWT team and now the
platform UI team is expected to work on this. If where anyone looking at
