Re: [platform-swt-dev] m6 plans?

Chris,

From the discussions that are held on that list (i'm already a subscriber) i get a feeling that it's not exactly what i'm after. e4 theming / styling talks about associating stylesheets with existing SWT components to change colors, fonts, insets and other UI-facing settings. I am looking for a different thing - if i have a custom SWT component (say accordion, breadcrumb bar, date time picker, ribbon or what not) - how do i skin it to look consistent with the rest of my SWT application?

Thanks
Kirill

Kirill, there's a lot of work going on in the e4 project at Eclipse around theme/styling...

I would sign up on the e4 mailing list and state your interest.

I'd like to restate my case for the official theming API. It can be extremely beneficial for third-party developers that wish to provide consistent appearance of custom visual areas.
