Re: [pdt-dev] AERI PDT reports

Hi all,

I made a quick peek into the reports and there is a few debugger related issues that in my opinion should be verified & reported. Nonetheless I will be on a holiday leave for the next two weeks so I have to postpone it. I will get back to it as soon as I am back from vacations.

Greetings.

Hi,
that's a lot!
How do you want us to sort & review them (without necessarily having decided if it is a real bug)?

My proposition:

If you are sure that it’s not a bug. You can close as log message (quick actions).

If this is a bug, create bug report (this is auto).

If pdt version is too old (for example 3.4), close and add info in triage page. I requested feature to mark version as obsolete: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=470091

If you are not sure, open bug anyway,  with additional comment. (maybe with title prefix : [?] ?)

Start with most recent, most reported, etc...?
Is there a way to mark the reports as reviewed (even if we can't determine/decide what to do), just to be sure that other maintainers don't work on same ones?

Unfortunately no. This could be nice feature request.

Is there a way to organize/arrange bugs depending on criterias?

You can use search to with problem kind criteria: NORMAL, FREEZE, OOME, SOE, THIRD

Subject: [pdt-dev] AERI PDT reports

Hi,

as I expected since Mars we receiving many log reports [1] (committer privileges are required). Now we have 168 record (some of them have over 100 reporters) and I'm not able to review all, so please help :P

Probably part of them are false positives (normal log), others not related to PDT ;)

It's also possible to subscribe daily or weekly reports (projects -> php development tools). We can request subscription directly to our mailing list.
