[mosquitto-dev] VERSION 3_1 Connect message Variable header

Hello mosquitto-dev team
I tried to read variable header of connect message. In specification say first and second byte describe the protocol name but you use only one byte for size of protocol name .Why you don't use specification.When we use your client libraries, Will it be a problem for other brokers or vice versa
