[mdt-papyrus.dev] Issues on Windows for diagrams

Hi everyone,

I recently had some issues on the rendering of the diagrams, where some of the background of the nodes were badly rendered. This seems to come from a new feature of the Eclipse platform, on the SWT side [1]

I am running Eclipse on a PC with Windows 7 and a rather high resolution (2560 x 1440). I gave a try with the geoshape examples from GMF runtime, to be sure the issue was not coming from Papyrus diagram specificities: pure GMF runtime diagrams also have the rendering issue.

I entered a new bug on the GMF runtime Bugzilla[2], I hope we will have some feedback soon.

In the meantime, you can deactivate this SWT autoscaling feature while adding the following parameter to your config.ini files if you bump into the issue: “-Dswt.enable.autoScale=false”

Regards,

Rémi
