You need the m2e-wtp plugin  to handle JavaEE projects with WTP ( applies to RAD). 
Please take a look at http://community.jboss.org/en/tools/blog/2011/06/23/m2eclipse-wtp-0130-new-noteworthy for more details on the recently released m2e-wtp 0.13.0

It seems all the update sites mentionned on either the m2eclipse website or
eclipsepedia are missing.
The only ways to get m2eclipse right now is either through sonatype or the
git site. I suspect this is not on prupose.

Also, I was wondering what is the proper vesion of m2eclipse to use in RAD?
I had some success with 0.10.2 but it seems it doesn't feature anything to
handle Dynamic Web Projects (WAR) ou EAR projects. Or maybe someone has
pointers on how to make this liveable?
