Hi Alexander,
Don't worry, I think we can merge your contribution later once the core leshan passed the IP.
Would be the usual process for merging a contribution at eclipse.
I think it would be simpler.
What do you think?

As you know we are moving the project to eclipse, one of the first spec is the initial contirbution:
So how it's going to happen: we are going to change all the packages to org.eclipse.leshan, the license headers, plus some other legal files, create a big zip and hand it to Eclipse legal team so they can start the IP review
At some point they will give us the green light and the project will be created as
github.org/eclipse/leshan and the code imported (with git history squashed).
So we need to "freeze" the code while the Eclipse team review the contributed code.
What do you think of freezing in 2 weeks: Friday 16th ?
