Hello,
We are still trying our best to get all features complete in this release. If we de-scope any features, they will be minor features that can be pushed off to the next release.
We always do release candidate builds. We usually do this once the majority of features are complete and relatively stable. I don’t know that a RC build is realistic by the end of the week, but we will certainly have one next week. When we create
a RC I will send a note to the mailing list letting everyone know it is available.
Thanks,
--Dave
Hi there,
Congratulations to the Kura team on giving more visibility to the project’s backlog. This makes a huge difference, and gives everyone
an opportunity to get more involved. Also, congratulations on all the new pretty awesome features

I actually have two quick comments/questions before giving my +1:
·
There seems to be many issues still opened against 2.0 in the bug tracker [1]. Are you confident you can deliver all those
for your release next week, or should some be descoped?
·
I would highly encourage you guys to produce a “Release Candidate“ build and promote it in your community so people can get
a chance to test Kura on some devices that are maybe not part of your typical QA, etc. I do not think that many people are using Kura “nightly” so it’d be safer to make sure you have some last minute testers IMO. Ideally you get this build out by the end of
this week and announce it on the Kura mailing list?
Thanks,
Benjamin –
Greetings PMC.
I require your approval of the release and the corresponding review materials.
Please indicate your approval with a +1
