[jwt-dev] WG: [eclipse.org-committers] Declaration for the SOA Runtime FrameworkProject

Hi all,

please find an interesting project proposal which shares some ideas with JWT under the following link [1]. Similar to us they are approaching an abstraction framework above several process engines (not for XPDL, but based on BPEL).
This project could also be a good partner: when the modeling of a business process has been finished, people should be able to choose whether they would like to generate XPDL code (focus of our project) or BPEL-code (focus of the BPEL and this new SOA-project).

Lets get in contact with these guys (when their newsgroup is working) or simply keep on tracking what they are doing...

I wish you all a nice weekend!

Best regards,

Florian

Declaration for the SOA Runtime Framework Project

The SOA Runtime Framework Project (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/soa/) is a proposed open-source sub-project under the Eclipse Technology project.

The goal of a service-oriented business architecture (SOA) is the loose coupling of business services. To achieve this, users need an SOA runtime platform. The SOA Runtime Framework Project will address the following issues:
  • Common interfaces between technical components
  • Interoperability between SOA environments
  • SOA runtime deployment on embedded systems
You are invited to comment on and/or join the project. Please send feedback to news://news.eclipse.org/eclipse.technology.soa.
