I'm happy to hear about this initiative. I have responded to the GitHub issue with my thoughts and suggestions, as well as a draft proposal for how the community can work together on internationalization and translation efforts.
I have also included some examples of the MicroProfile community's successes in the last 3 years to illustrate the potential impact of these efforts and give us a sense of what we may achieve for Jakarta EE
