Hi Werner,

Not yet indeed. I order to prevent any potential clashes between the fork and the upstream I renamed all IDs, so a new entry for that list is needed. I need to do a little research to find out how to be added to that list. Perhaps it's just a PR somewhere.

The plug-in is available from the market place. I'll test it soon with GlassFish 5 as well to see if it still works with that.

Kind regards,
Arjan

Arjan,

Thanks for the update. I guess it won't work with the list of server definitions in WTP then like the old Glassfish tools or others (Wildfly, Tomcat, etc.) do?

Regards,
Werner

Hi,

We have released Payara 5 tools a while ago, which should work with GlassFish 5 as well (to be honest, I do have to retry it).

It's a fork of https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/eclipse-glassfish-tools since indeed nothing was happening at the upstream project. I made a number of improvements: https://github.com/payara/ecosystem-eclipse-glassfish-plugin/commits/master

Hope this helps

Kind regards,
Arjan

@Mike, @Konstantin There is no clear state under https://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/eclipse-glassfish-tools

I think you would have more luck asking this question on the wtp-pmc list. I simply don't know what the plans are.
