Hi all,

 

The Eclipse IDE landing page highlights some of the features of the release. Please see the landing page for the last release -  https://www.eclipseide.org/release - for an example.

Similar to the previous releases, we would like to gather inputs from the community on features that can be highlighted on the page for 2022-12 release.

 

The content we have so far:

  • Latest Java Support - Supports Java 19 and provides the necessary tooling for development.
  • Improved Maven tooling - Maven annotation processor support is built-in, and support for several core Maven plugins was improved *

 

Please provide your inputs/suggestions on any features or points that can be added to the page for this release. 

 

* I just realised that I missed these m2e improvements suggested by Mickael Istria for the previous release, so have included it above. Sorry about it. If there are any further m2e improvements that can be included in the topic, please let me know.
