Re: [ide-dev] Java IDEs comparison

Good news everyone. We had a great discussion on this at today¹s
Architecture Council call. We have decided to put renewed energy and
create a committee to produce a new set of User Experience Guidelines
which would include updates to the existing UI Guidelines but also produce
more general user experience and workflow guidelines. I really want to
make this a community effort to help drive peer pressure with the various
projects, both at Eclipse and 3rd party, to do the right thing for the
greater good. Your input as experienced IDE devs will be highly valued and
I think we have the energy now to make significant progress.

More when I get things rolling.

Doug.
