Re: [equinox-dev] Committer disagreement resolution guidelines

Yes, but as you mention I need to

a) got to project site (often hard to find if not linked as project name != github repo name) b) got to https://projects.eclipse.org/content/thomas-watson-project-lead-equinox for exmaple
c) then click on the user
d) then there is a small button to gihub (not sure if always, because eclipsename != github name in many cases) then copy that name and build a list of potentially everyone...

No think about someone wants to ask any commiter to review its PR, now I need to just randomly choose people, while with a public team I could do

@commiters can please someone review my PR or let me know what is missing

Given that there is already an automated script for syncing the infos to github, I assume it should be possible to automate this so we have these info as a Github "Team" and as the info is not private there should not be an issue to make it explicit and a "public team"?

Note that every project has portal information where you can see who is involved and see who leads:

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/eclipse.equinox/who

That also has navigation (PROJECT LINKS section on the right) to the container in the project hierarchy, e.g.,

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/eclipse/who

I expect we'd not want to duplicate this information because who is going to keep that information current?

Alright, do you think it would be possible to have (beside the private groups) maybe have for each Gitgub repo one

@commiters
@project-lead
@pmc

I really miss that info (not only in eclipse projects) to have a clue how to ask "anyone" e.g. for PR or in this case clearance of disagreement, so using "private" groups seem inappropriate here anyways.

Link definitely is correct but seems to be "protected" in some way. As a project lead I can even start discussion among project leads.
