Just a small update on this issue: I found out that when we revert
jgit commit c4797fe for the client side then the push works. I talked
yesterday with Shawn about this problem but it seems that c4797fe
looks semantically ok. I am now trying to find out why c4797fe let
jgit send objects during a push which cause this problem.
