[egit-dev] [Import] Why proposing the New Project wizard instead of Impo

Hi,

Why from the "Import projects from Git" wizard, user is proposed to use the New Project wizard, instead of the Import Project wizard ? Wouldn't it make more sense to show the Import project wizard instead ? Or if there are use-case that are known to be impossible to realize with the Import wizards, wouldn't it make sense to propose both New and Import wizards to users?
Also, is there a known generic way to propagate the folder of the Git repositories to the various wizards so that they could use it to pre-populate their fields?
