Re: [ee4j-pmc] Request assistance for Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection™

I don't see how to do that from the https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.cdi page. The issue is that we need a new

such as the inject, inject-spec and inject-tck repos for Jakarta Dependency Injection subproject. So perhaps all that is needed is to create a git lab request for a new repo and then just create a new release under the ee4j.cdi.

Hi Scott,

Why would you need a new project? A specification project can produce multiple specifications, so what I would suggest is to create the new specification under the existing CDI project.
For that, you would need to create a PR for the new specification in the specifications repository and ask the specification committee for a creation review.

Discussion regarding Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection™(CDI)

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.cdi

We are wanting to start a new subproject under the Jakarta Contexts and Dependency Injection specification project. The new project that breaks out the existing requirements around CDI integration with other Jakarta EE containers/technologies into a separate integration spec and the associated TCK tests moved into a new TCK. The issue that captures the details is:

https://github.com/jakartaee/cdi/issues/687

What is the process for starting a creation review for such a project?

Scott
