A committer election for Darran Lofthouse on project Jakarta Authentication
(ee4j.authentication) was started by Arjan Tijms with this criteria:

It's my pleasure to nominate Darran as committer to the Jakarta
Authentication project. Darran is responsible for many matters relating
security APIs at JBoss/Red Hat and has firsthand experience with the Jakarta
Authentication API, which, being the low level API intended for mostly
vendors, is what few people have. Darran would be an invaluable asset to the
project.
