Re: [ee4j-pmc] New Eclipse Committer Orientation

I think that I'm just going to record the session, and maybe just hold a general Q&A session.

I should have that recording done later this week.

David,
Wayne used the PMC for a dry-run of the material that he will be presenting to the large set of new Committers that are coming on board due to the EE4J Initial Committer lists.  It was good material, but nothing earth shattering from our viewpoint (because of our experience with MicroProfile).

Sorry I missed this as was on vacation.  How do we get listed here?

To better accommodate PMC and community members who will join us from the West Coast, I'm moving this session to 12pm EST.

All other details are the same.

I hope that you can join.

Greetings EE4J PMC.

I've set up a "New Eclipse Committer Orientation" session on January 4/2018 at 10:30 AM EST.

I'll use this session to provide an overview of what it means to be a Committer on an Eclipse open source project. I expect that this will be the first of several sessions and will be somewhat more interactive as I adapt it on the fly for the PMC audience.

Others are welcome to attend.
